Rest House cafe is known to be the only 24 hours coffee house in Malacca. Having said that, not much really know that it actually serves buffet lunch until i recently saw its featured deal in Groupon.
This international buffet lunch serves variety of food choices from Western, to Japanese, and not to forget, the local delicacies too.
Look at the Australian sirloin, it is just so attempting.
And the great varieties of salad and appetizers, they are just so appealing and appetizing, can't remember well how many rounds i went for these as they are really gooooooood!
They have the "cook to order" corner where it serves the local great laksa and chicken rice.
More to crazy, the mouth watering desserts. Girls just can't resist sweet stuffs i admit :) But let's forget about the cup cakes as I found it a bit of too sweet.
Wrapping up, not too bad experience dining in Rest House Cafe when this meal only cost us RM35/ pax as we bought the vouchers from Groupon (Normal rate i think is about RM50). Food quality and varieties can be improved though.

Since Equatorial Hotel is located in the high traffic area, thus i will suggest to have your car park in the hotel basement with RM10 per entrance. Or alternatively, you may opt for car park in Dataran pahlawan or the street parking nearby that area.
The buffet lunch serves from 12pm -2.30pm. But to be sure, just give a call to the cafe to confirm.
