Chapter Two Cafe, a lifestyle cafe I would say. Hiding inside M Concept store, Chapter Two is located just at the same row of shop with Todd's and Movida. Not difficult to find right?

I believe that Chapter Two is one of the first few in Melaka who own the lifestyle cafe concept, which incorporated the hair salon, boutique, and cafe all under 1 roof.

The classic elegant English environment might be the main reason that why this newly opened cafe is always packed with people. Songs and music being played were nice, though I found the table layout is abit clutter ;P

As usual, I ordered my favourite hot chocolate, while Mr. Wee got himself a nice chilling fruit Juice, Heart Beets. Hot chocolate was up to standard, soothing and creamy. While the cold pressed juice is a healthy choice since it is without any added sugar or water. Probably I should try out their cake next time as it looks quite tempting indeed :)

Nido Cafe @ Melaka Raya

Another hidden gem in the town! I first noticed this cafe when I saw a friend checked-in to this cafe in Facebook. Haha, thanks to Facebook, I found this favourite cafe of mine so far in Melaka.

Quietly sit on the first floor among the busy area of Melaka Raya, it might be slightly difficult for you to locate the cafe. But no worries, as you may look for this wholesale bag shop which located exactly downstair of Nido Cafe; or alternatively, look for Sironi Nyonya Restaurant, which is beside the wholesale bag shop :p

Simply love the uncomplicated, spacious form of design in Nido Cafe. It's the coziness and warmth that brought by the concept itself. Unlike most of the cafes out there, the uncluttered layout of tables allows a comfortable and restful environment for a nice chit chat session with friends.

As usual, hot chocolate lover me got myself a nice hot chocolate. It was rich and yummy! And Tze commented that both the coffee, Latte and Cappuccino were great also, smooth and aromatic.

Nido Special is something different for you if you in need of something cold and light. A mixture of soda water + berries, this drink is light and refreshing.

Nido Cafe is definitely the perfect place to meet for drinks with friends, or to enjoy a nice cup of coffee alone in a lazy afternoon :) Love this place! My only humble comment is I wish that the cafe owner may consider to extend the business hours till night time. So I may have more chances to hang out here :p

School Cafe @ Jalan Gajah Berang, Melaka

This is not our first visit to School Cafe. This cosy little cafe with simple interior offers several breakfast set menu at affordable price, and main course options which are mainly taiwanese dishes. As we know, this is because that the lady boss, who is the cook here as well is a Taiwanese. Thus no doubt on the Taiwan food taste originality :)

LoBak Rice is my favourite here. A mouthful of rice with the thick gravy and the tasteful minced meat delight me always. Like the side dish - pickle cabbage too, crunchy and tasty.

While mum likes their Pork Rib Noodles. However, still has room for improvement if to compare with the famous Hing Loong Taiwanese Noodle in Melaka.

Tomato Fish Rice is somehow abit too dry. But the portion is quite generous, good enough for the price we pay for.

We always like Mango snow ice. This Mango snow ice is extremely fine and smooth, has all the mango syrup juice absorbed well. But only the mango cubes are abit too few, would be better if the mango cubes are more generous :)

We like this cafe. Not only the food priced reasonably, but also the food quality and service quality. The boss is always friendly and attentive. You will know when you pay a visit here :)
