Greenlicious @ 10 Boulevard, Damansara PJ

Tze and me are always organic food lovers. For us, maintaining a good health is not just about doing exercise, breathing fresh air, but what plays an important role is what you eat. With that in mind, Tze and me and Be decided to go for an organic lunch since 3 of us can feel the "heatiness" in our body :) After a fruitful shopping trip in One Utama, we headed to Greenlicious which located at 10 Boulevard, right next to Sprint Highway, before the exit of Damansara Utama Toll Plaza.

Tze was the regular customer here while this was the first time Be and me here. Stepped into the restaurant, we were being greeted by a very friendly staff with a warm big smile. Environment wise, it is mainly with the wooden interior design, thus gives a natural and peaceful feel to the guests.

Selling various kind of organic products here as well :)

According to the staff, Greenlicious serves only organic or natural food, with no artificial color, preservative in line of promoting a healthy lifestyle and a healthier eating choice for the consumers. This indeed reminded me of my favourite organic restaurant in Melaka - Veggie Planet, who share the similar concept as well.

Be and me decided to order their signature dishes from the Set Lunch Menu, which comes with a compliment soya drink. Be ordered the signature dish, Nasi Lemak KL Tower. Unfortunately they were running out of the famous pandan rice thus were being replaced with normal brown rice. According to Be, the curry chicken was full with aromatic spices, right match to the brown rice. And for myself, as a all time Lei Cha lover, how can i not to try out the Lei Cha King here, haha. I always said that Veggie Planet has the best Lei Cha, but after today, I have to tell the whole world, the best organic Lei Cha is in Greenlicious. Crunch, crunch, crunch; munch, munch, munch! I can't stop eating as it is really good. The jade green herbal paste is the soul of this meal. Rich and smooth texture, with light aroma of i think from groundnuts and sesame, it is just the best one I ever tasted.

Nasi lemak KL Tower RM16.90

Lei Cha King RM16.90

Set lunch comes with a complimentary soya drink
While Tze ordered something out from the Set Lunch Menu. She got herself a poridge which was decent, but nothing to shout about.

Greenlicious is probably not your typical kind of organic restaurant, but it provides food with a myriad of tasteful delights and lots of surprises. So who says organic food is not delicious?

Crave Cafe @ Oasis Square, Ara Damansara

The Crave is an Australian inspired cafe. Located just next to the famous Mr. & Mrs. Cafe, The Crave humbly sitting beside with its simple black and white signboard. The Crave welcomes hungry early birds, as the business starts at 8am, with its simple and cosy dining setting, bricks golems.

This was indeed my 3rd visit to this outlet since 2013. Environment was still nice as last time. Not much guests in the early morning, and with some nice songs played, greeted by friendly staffs. Breakfast set menu remain unchanged as my last visit, but with slight of price increased. All breakfast sets do come with a complimentary fruit juice with choices of apple, orange, guava, mango or iced lemon tea. And if you are a coffee lover, you might want to upgrade the drinks to selected Toby's espressoo hot/ cold coffee at RM5/ 7 respectively.

Here's the food we ordered:

Roast Chicken Sandwich RM13

Strawberry Pancakes RM12

Sandwich and salad were fine in taste, as they used real fresh ingredients. But portion was rather small for my Be :). Both Tze and me were a bit disappointed on the pancakes. During my last 2 visits, I got to tried the pancakes as well, and the taste and texture were way better than this one. Personally I can tasted the taste of flour as the pancakes are just too thick for my preference.

Environment: 4/5
Food: 3/5
Price: 3/5
Service: 4/5

Parking suggestion: Plenty of parking spaces available either infront of the cafe, or you may opt for the basement car park. And just fyi, this is an autopay carpark :p

Overall, this is a nice cafe to hang out with friends, foods are ok, staffs are friendly , songs are nice. Will take a chance to try out their lunch next time, Stay tuned! :)

Nyonya Village @ Jalan Parameswara Melaka

I always wanted to know more and everything about Baba Nyonya. One of the main reason might be because of the influence from Mr. Hang, he got half blood of the Peranakan :)

Bump into this Nyonya Village located in Jalan Parameswara (same row with bites, just a few blocks away). This place used to be the Yat Ko Steamboat and Dim Sum restaurant, but went closed down since months back. And only recently the new owner take up the place and transform it into Nyonya Village.

By looking at the name you might be guessing, is this a restaurant? a cultural village? or some kind of local souvenir shop? The answer is: all of the above :) Let's have a village tour before to share with you guys the "damage" of the day, haha.

And here you go the long waited nyonya cuisine.

Our girls trip~ Day 1 @ Kota Kinabalu

Started planning since September 2013, and today is finally THE DAY! The girls are going to Kota Kinabalu; not to conquer the Mount Kinabalu, but to eat, drink, play and have fun there, haha.

We were lucky enough to grab the promo ticket from Malindo Air during last year at RM110/ pax for KL-KK round trip. And since the opening of KLIA2, Malindo Air had moved their terminal to KLIA2 as well. Indeed, this was my first time to KLIA2. And I was amazed with the improvement (if to compared with the old LCCT, haha). So many of outlets to shop with and also nice eatery places, as if i was in a shopping mall rather than an airport :p

This was my first time to fly with Malindo Air as well. We noticed that the seats are much comfortable and legroom are better than AA. And guess what, we got to enjoy the personal tv as well. Though not much choices of movies/ entertainment, but it's better than zero :). One thing to remind all, please remember to bring along your earphone as Malindo does not provide free earphone, though they do have the earphone chargeable at RM15/ set up for sell. Meanwhile, Malindo serves light snack and mineral water. Nothing fancy but a pack of Munchy's cracker and mineral water in cup. But again, it is better than 0 :)

Every passenger get to enjoy their small little screen of entertainment

We reached KK airport and were being greeted by our tour guide, Mr. Xin who was waiting us outside at the arrival hall. The first stop was the famous Fatt Kee Fish Noodles. Located inside Jin Jin Restaurant, Fatt Kee is one of the stall resides here. Different with the fish noodles in KL, Fatt Kee has the tomato soup base. And you may choose whether to add milk in or not. And you have options for mixed fish, fish head, fish skin etc for your noodles or mee hoon.

This was definitely one of the best fish noodles i ever had. The lights sourly taste from tomato brings good aroma and it is indeed a best match with the milk to bring out a smooth texture of soup.  And not to forget the fried Tau Kee. Pretty worth to try as well.

Tomato soup base + milk with both fried and non fried fish meat. Heavenly good taste! RM13

Fried tau kee RM3/pc

Clear soup with fried fish meat RM11

Clear vs Milk. Still prefer the 1 with milk :)

After this super satisfying lunch, we headed straight to Kundasang. On the way up, Mr. Xin brought us to the Tamparuli Suspension Bridge. Nice view from the bridge, but Tze was quite nervous with the suspension bridge though, hahaha.

No matter how scare die die still want to selfie :p

Spent about 30minutes there, we cabuted and proceeded to one of the most wanted place to go, haha - Desa Dairy Farm. Once we reached the entrance, we can't wait to get out of the car and non stop taking photos. The entrance fee is RM4/ adult. Fair enough the price.

Going in, saw a whole bunch of moo moo cow on the green field. At once, i thought i was in New Zealand, haha. Don't blame me on this as you will surely to have the same feeling if you are here.

We walked into the shop and processing plant. And we were amazed that the cows are smart enough to queue up taking turns for milk compressing. Here, we got to purchase the fresh milk and gelato too! Nice and worth trying.

500ml fresh milk RM3.50

Gelato RM5/ cup

Ok, finally after the whole day travel, it's time to rest and check in to the resort. We have our stay in Kinabalu Pine Resort. Surrounded by the pine trees, now i know how the name comes from :p

We were happy enough with the room as it is located the the top hill. Though abit tiring walking up with our luggage, but the superb scenery and view from our room's balcony was truly amazing! The whole peak of Mount Kinabalu is just infront of us!

Enjoyed the fresh milk and fresh air and fresh scenery

Dinner was included in the package as Kundasang is quite a quiet place at night time and hardly to find dining places around. Food was simple with sweet and sour fish, mixed vege, chicken and corn chicken soup. Taste was so so only so don't have too high expectation on the food quality.

We were really tire and we all fall into sleep as early as on 9pm, haha. Kindly see my next post soon for our day 2 activities in Kota Kinabalu. Stay tuned!
