Dissapointed Online Shopping Experience - Boutique Malaysia

As I am writing here, I feel very disappointed with my recent purchase from an online store.

I ordered a wallet from this seller on 7th May with 50% deposit payment being made. Seller informed it will takes 4 weeks for the good to arrive as they need to ship it from USA.

On 12 June (Thursday), seller emailed me and informed that the item is ready to ship out on coming Monday. I transferred the balance on 14 June (Saturday) and attached the transaction receipt in the email for seller reference. But until 16 June (Monday) only seller replied and out of surprise, she mentioned the item will be shipped out on Wednesday, which was 2 days later than the promised date. However  I was still fine with it as long as I am able to receive the item before weekend.

Waiting.. Thursday... waitng... Friday... but still no sign of the item coming in. Thus on 20 June (Friday 4.38pm) I emailed seller to get the Poslaju consignment note number for me to track the delivery status.

Seller only able to provide me the tracking number on 22 June night. But I already have no time for all this as I was flying off outstation. Until today, only i have time to follow up. And when i key in the tracking number, this was the result.

I have no idea at all what was this self collection thing about. And quickly i called up Poslaju customer service and to my surprise, Poslaju customer service representative told me that their crew was unable to deliver the parcel to my house due to wrong address and contact number. Without further ado, I traced back my previous email to seller just to double check whether there were any typo. But, no! Details provided were absolutely 100% prefect. Thus, i emailed the seller. And below are the conversations:

What a reply! This is indeed so unprofessional and irresponsible. It seems that now they are throwing anger to me instead of me doing it! I was good enough that never chased them for the item even it was way delayed as per promised on the eta, and delivery was being delayed also but i never utter a word! And now, with a mistake which the seller did but i have to bear all the consequences!

Now the seller offered to resend me the item but i don't feel like to reply as I am really fed up and sick of her reply earlier. I don't really care about the item now cause anyway it is not an expensive thing, but it is the service and the attitude from the seller that pissed me off! And as mentioned in my email to the seller earlier, the reason people opt for online purchase is because it is easy, convenient and save time. But now looking at the condition, i seems have to spend more time instead. Cracking head now when on earth i will have time for the collection in the Poslaju counter! Seriously, i am so tired with all these shi*s!

93 Degree cafe @ Dataran Pahlawan & Breeks Cafe @ Mahkota Parade

A pleasant Friday. Wei and I decided to move our working station out from the house, hoping to get more inspiration and ideas in our work.

I remembered that 93 Degree Cafe having its soft launch in January 2014. But we never had the chance to try it out till today. Reached the cafe at around 11.30am, and we were the first customer there. The cafe serves various type of coffee and tea drinks, with few selection of pastry eg. macarons, cheese cake etc.

We owned the whole place!

Part of the Tea menu

Macaron RM4.00/ pc

One thing good about this cafe is that it is with few power points around thus no worries if your laptop or smart phone are running out of power supply; but the problem is, the wifi there is really unstable. So be prepared with slow and unstable connection of wifi; or you may just opt for your own data plan :p

I ordered a Caramel Iced Latte. Hhmmm... I can hardly taste any caramel in the drink; very diluted with lots of ice being added in even i have already requested for less ice.

Caramel Iced Latte RM13.00 (Regular)

Wei got himself a hot drink - Jasmine Green Tea. Not sure what was the brand of tea being used, but the taste was so so only with slight of bitter taste according to Wei.

Jasmine Green Tea RM10.00

We stayed in 93 degree cafe for about 3 hours and we were still the only customers there. Only when we about to leave to Mahkota Parade for lunch then there were 3 customers walked in.

We decided to head to Breeks Cafe for lunch. I always like Breeks Cafe. They have just newly renovated but with only minor changes in the facade and interior :)

Executive Set Meal with affordable price

The name sounds very much like a western style cafe right? Yes, it is indeed a American style cafe, but in the same time serving Korean meal set as well. Fyi, Breeks Cafe falls under the same group with Seoul Garden. You might noticed about this when you see the staffs are actually wearing Seoul Garden uniform.

All the sets comes with a bowl of Kimchi soup, 3 side dishes and fruits

You may expect wide selection of food and drinks from their menu for either Western or Korean cuisine.  Looking at the food pictures made me and Wei feel even more hungry. Thus, once the waiter served us the food,  and before noticing, i started to enjoy my meal WITHOUT taking any pictures of it!!! The only shot i have was the "mixed up" bim bim bap :(

The before & after look of my Garlic Chicken Bap ser RM10.90

The Koi siblings enjoyed much the meals. And the best exercise after a heavy meal -  we proceeded for window shopping and of course, how can it be completed without visiting the newly open H&M outlet in Hatten Square. Shopping shopping shopping time!

Flowerney Organic Soya Bean Curd @ Melaka Raya

This is a night when Be and I were craving for dessert. While still cracking head where to go as we know it is really difficult to find nice dessert during this hour (10.30pm) in Malacca. And suddenly Be suggested: " Why not we try this?"; pointing to Flowerney Organic Soya Beancurd while we were waiting for traffic light along Jalan Syed Abdul Aziz.

Flowerney Organic Soya Beancurd

To be frank, I have never noticed about this shop until now :). Located at the same row with Pei Zing Chinese Restaurant, it is really hard to overlook this shop. But somehow, i just missed it :p

This shop serves wide array of foods and beverages - from Asian to Western cuisine, dessert, fruit juices and snack dishes.

Organic Soya Beancurd RM3.90 each

We ordered an Almond Soya Beancurd and Roasted Soya Beancurd. To our disappointment, these are actually those pre-made soya beancurd. We were actually expecting something like those in Bukit Cina Soya Bean (another famous soya beancurd shop in Malacca), which serve hot in bowl.

Almond . Roasted.

The beancurd were served chilled in a plastic container. Taste wise, it seems more like a jelly pudding in my opinion. If you are expecting a traditional kind of beancurd, then it might not be your liking.

Cheesy nuggets were not too bad though.

Cheesy Nuggets RM5.90
I shall see this shop more as an eating place, rather than a cafe for hanging out with friends. As during my visit, the staffs were actually had the TV turned on with great volume showing TVB drama :p

Environment: 2.5/5
Food: 2.5/5
Price: 3/5
Service: 2.5/5

Parking suggestion: Street parking bays along the street.

Kaffe Cafe @ TTDI

Early morning with my beloved families, we headed to Kaffe Cafe - one of the hottest cafe in TTDI.

Tze and I discovered this cafe about 2 years back. We wouldn't discovered this gem in TTDI if Mukha that we planned to visit initially was closed. Kaffe Cafe itself is a cozy, with its warm, dim lighting, a great place for people to just sit back and relax with a sip of coffee.

Kaffe Cafe has a wide range of food and beverages for one to choose from. They even has the info graphic chart for coffee displayed on the wall. Good job!

The infographic chart for coffee
Tea selection for the tea lover

One of the reason that we are so in love with Kaffe Cafe is because we find it takes their drinks very seriously. Great in taste,  mouth fulling, and generous in portion. And one beverage that i find the most worth to try is the Iced Chocolate (too tempting till i forgot to take photos of it :p). One of best that i ever tasted as it is sooooooooooo chocolaty and rich in taste! A must try if you are a chocolate drinks fans :)

Flat White RM9.00 / Latte RM9.00
Hot Chocolate RM10.00
The girls can't wait to taste the hot chocolate!

We ordered the All Day Big Breakfast for dad. Look at the portion! Even dad can't finished these. Mum enjoy her sausage + egg + toast though :p

Big Breakfast RM20.00

And some more the "crazy for food" Koi brother and sisters order each a great portion of meal. Look! Can you imagine us finished up all these? Of course we can't, haha. Ended up my poor little brother had to wallop everything for us.

Sausage, egg and toast RM12.00
Banger & Mash RM18.00 (Mashed potatoes not ready thus being replaced with fried :( )

Club Sandwich RM15.00
Love the layer by layer of fresh ingredients- the turkey ham especially

Poor boy that forced to finish everything. He seems enjoy though :p

Dad mum apparently likes this place as well. See how much they wanted to pose and take pictures with the kids before leaving and you will know, haha.

Environment: 4/5 (nice cafe but washroom condition can be further improved :p)
Food: 4.5/5
Price: 4/5
Service: 4.5/5 (Thanks for the excellent and fast service despite of the busy morning)

Parking suggestion. Street parking bays available. But not too sure is that easy to get parking during weekdays in that area as my visits were always in the weekends :p
